Alerting operators when lifting equipment is reaching capacity
Using a four wire strain bridge configuration, the cells put out 2mV/V and offer good linearity, repeatability and temperature stability. The design is simple, two roller bearing sheaves are mounted in a rigid frame. The rope is clamped in the middle of the load cell between the two sheaves. As tension increases the force against the two sheaves is transmitted as an electrical signal to the display as a direct reading of the line tension. Various Models are available.
